[Column] Hair Transplantation, Gets Higher Results as Enlarged

2014.01.27 10:40:13

Performing a hair transplant surgery without wearing a high magnification magnifying glass is like watching a baseball game in the outfield. You don’t even need a telescope to watch the whole game, but you need to read a video as well as a magnified screen to see important scenes accurately.

In this way, in the process of designing the overall shape of the hair, it is necessary to check the balance and proportion, so you can observe it with the naked eye, but the process of planting each hair needs to be expanded to the extent possible.

Even downy hair should be protected as much as possible

I don’t know if the scalp has become flat due to completely missing hair, but if the scalp remains even down, it should be transplanted using a magnifying glass at least 8x during hair transplantation. This is because the downy hairs that are likely to come back to life are hardly identified with the naked eye.

If a new hair is transplanted on top of the remaining hair as downy hair is not recognized, eventually one is transplanted and one dies. In order to transplant new hair, you must wear a magnifying glass of at least 8x to protect the existing living hair as much as possible.

You can feel that the hair is down when you carefully touch it with your palm, even if it is completely hair loss and you can feel it with your palms. If you’ve decided to do a hair transplant to make the area where the hair remains sparse, it’s as important as planting a new one to avoid injuring your existing hair.

High magnification magnifying glass is required for hair follicle protection

The reason for wearing a high magnification magnifying glass during the implantation stage is invisible, but obviously to protect live hair follicles. The act of piercing the pores for transplantation requires very little force, but the impact of the surrounding hair follicles is very high. Just as we die with a slight finger press to get rid of pests, hair follicle cells can be damaged by very small impacts.

If you use a magnifying glass with a magnification of 8 or more, it is also effective to protect the surrounding hair, but it is a necessary tool for a dense transplantation result because you can make up to 3 or 4 pores that seemed to be only 2 due to the enlarged field of view.

If the bleeding is removed cleanly during the process of creating a place for new hair to enter (pores), the process of creating pores on the scalp can be made more elaborate, so the slit method in which the process of creating pores and the process of transplanting are separated is advantageous. However, many hospitals are still performing hair transplantation with the naked eye because, when wearing a high magnification magnifying glass, the object in front of the eye is enlarged too close and the hands cannot be moved freely.

The first time you wear glasses for vision correction, you will need to adjust the glasses for a certain period of time. However, I think that protecting even one more hair follicle with these efforts is not only to improve the outcome of the surgery, but also to the doctor’s duty to perform the hair transplant.

Hair loss patients decide to do a hair transplant to hide the scalp that has become even a little more dense and full of hair. However, if you have lost one at the hospital where you went for a hair transplant and have had one transplanted, this should be called a hair replacement, not a hair transplant.
