Efforts to Ensure Customer Safety

Hairline correction is not painful.

NHI New Hair exerts efforts to reduce physical and psychological pain.

During hairline correction, anesthetic management is handled effectively so it is rare for a patient to complain about feeling pain. However, once anesthesia wears off upon returning home, pain may be felt, and it may interfere with post-surgery recovery. Hairline correction is a type of surgery in which the patient maintains the same posture for an extended period, so one must relax after the surgery. If postoperative pain persists, stress increases in the body, which may lead to an adverse effect on freshly transplanted follicles of baby hair. Thus, it is very important to suppress pain during the surgery, and then effectively control postoperative pain.

Laughing Gas (Nitrous Oxide N2O) Anesthesia

Nitrous oxide, or the so-called laughing gas, has been used in surgical procedures for about 150 years, and is one of the safest sleep therapies without serious after-effects. The calming effect exhibited after several minutes after the inhalation of such gas helps the patient undergo hairline correction comfortably. The patient does not feel pain because of the local anesthesia on the scalp to which surgery is applied. However, we use laughing gas to minimize the pain involved in anesthetic injection, and to suppress the psychological pain that the patient may feel during the surgery.

Psychological stability with an injection to induce sleep

The patient does not have to be awake during the process of taking hair from the back of the head. Even if the patient is awake, he or she cannot feel pain, but the patient may be pressured by the psychological burden based on the fact that part of the scalp will be removed from the back of the head. Thus, we are prescribing an injection to induce sleep so that the patient can sleep through the process comfortably. The patient may choose to sleep or to see the entire process of hairline correction to know how well the hair is managed and meticulously transplanted because the process is not painful.

Quick recovery

Slit method hairline correction reduces the appearance of scab and swelling. In the slit method hairline correction, hair follicles are delicately transplanted on the pores at the transplant site, and bleeding is completely avoided. At the end of the surgery, there may be few bleeding marks on the forehead, but no discomfort will be felt due to the scab.

Surgery Process

EGF and SGF

EGF and SGF help the scar tissue heal quickly and cleanly.
EGF and SGF prevent scarring on the forehead, the transplant site, by quickly eliminating swelling and redness that may interfere with daily activities after the surgery.

Massage the back of the head one month before the hairline correction surgery to soften the scalp. A softened scalp will be helpful when closing the empty space where hair is collected, making the scar appear smaller after the surgery. It also helps increase the amount of hair that can be collected, and it alleviates the symptoms of back hair pulling after correcting the hairline. If you do it about 10 times a day for 3 minutes at a time, it will help significantly on the day of the hairline correction procedure.
