Regardless of the age, if the scalp is clearly visible due to lack of thinning hair, it not only looks old, but also complains of discomfort, saying that confidence in everyday life is low.

Some of them look for temporary methods such as Heukchae, but they are only temporary solutions and are not a long-term solution.

Unlike male genetic hair loss, in women, hair loss occurs due to stress, disease, childbirth, etc. This is a good alternative to finding a non-surgical method rather than deciding on a hair transplant because the condition may improve when the cause is resolved.

As such, SMP (Scalp Tattoo) is effective if you are worried about the lack of density of the hair due to hair loss on the crown.

SMP is a procedure that injects pigment into the hair loss area to make it look like hair. It is a procedure developed by NH New Hair of the United States and NH New Hair of Korea through a one-year clinical trial.

Needles and ink used for SMP are also produced separately and are a key factor in realistically expressing hair. It took more than a year to develop the ink and implement individual hair colors.

SMP is a procedure created by three elements: microneedle, ink of NHI New Hair, and treatment method. Unlike general tattoos, it is naturally irregular and elaborate.

Kim Jin-oh, director of the NHI New Hair Hair Transplant Center, presented SMP clinical results along with live images at the World Hair Transplant Society for three consecutive years from 2012 to 2014.

Overseas hair transplant specialists who attended the conference showed a positive response, saying, “SMP will be a new solution for those who are afraid or unable to transplant hair.”

“Since SMP is a hospital procedure, you can receive the procedure without pain through partial anesthesia,” said Jin-oh Kim, a plastic surgeon at the NHI New Hair Hair Transplant Center. It is injected into the product and the satisfaction is high,” he explained.

“There are many cases of patients who have undergone semi-permanent treatments by illegal surgeons to reinforce hair density, but there have been cases where the semi-permanent area has already turned blue or damaged the surrounding hair follicles, resulting in secondary hair loss.” Pigment therapy should be done at a hospital where the scalp is examined and specialized medical procedures are available,” he advised.
