Korean hair transplant… Slit method is suitable

2013.12.06 11:39:37

Recently, as the domestic hair transplant academia has become more active, the international hair transplant society is reevaluating Korean hair transplant techniques.

As other scientific fields have been widely evaluated for their excellent hand skills in the past, re-evaluation in hair transplants with low equipment dependence seems to have been predicted in some way.

The SLIT hair transplant, which began in earnest in the mid-1990s, is an optimized surgical technique for’follicular hair transplantation’ developed by William R. Rassman of NHI New Hair in the United States.

It began to be introduced in Korea in earnest when the Korean branch was established in 2009 at NHI New Hair, representing Kim Jin-oh plastic surgeon. Kim Won-jang has been evaluated for having successfully settled NHI’s major surgical techniques in Korea after receiving the core technology from the US hospital for about a year.

Kim Jin-oh, director of the NHI New Hair Hair Transplantation Center, said, “Due to the racial nature of the skin color and hair color contrast that is greater than that of Westerners, Asians must transplant hair at a high density or obtain the maximum effect with the same amount of transplantation through precise control of the transplant direction. I do” he explained.

In other words, in order to cover the bright scalp color as much as possible and make it look rich, a high-density transplant and a surgical technique that makes use of the directionality well is necessary.

As it proved to be excellent for domestic hair transplant patients, interest in NHI clinics in the U.S. increased, and he plans to visit Korea in 2013 and 2014 to discuss clinical results in depth and summarize the results together.

Director Kim Jin-oh has already announced the excellence of the SLIT method through the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and plans to present the same subject with additional clinical results for 4 consecutive years.

“The excellence of the SLIT method has been known through international hair transplantation conferences for many years, and has been proven through papers.” We hope that there will be a turning point where you can feel the value of investment in excellence.”

Meanwhile, the Korea NHI New Hair Hair Transplant Center plans to systematically organize the benefits of the SLIT method for Koreans with the US NHI New Hair Center and report it to the International Hair Transplant Society.
