Hello, this is NHI New Hair.

From February 1, 2014, we would like to provide detailed information on the implementation of VAT on’hair transplantation’.

In accordance with the Presidential Decree determined by the President

From February 1, 2014, the following surgeries have been defined as’beauty purposes’ and have been converted from non-taxation to taxation.
Cosmetic surgery for cosmetic purposes such as breast augmentation/reduction, liposuction, wrinkle removal, and double jaw surgery for the purpose of improving appearance

In addition, skin-related procedures for cosmetic purposes, treatment of pigment disorders such as spots and freckles, acne treatment, hair removal-hair loss treatment, and hair transplantation
are inevitable for all hair transplants (including hairline correction) that are treated from February 1, 2014.

You will be required to pay VAT equivalent to 10% of the existing medical expenses.
Therefore, according to the VAT Act, an additional 10% of the surgery cost will be paid.

We hope you will not get stuck in your surgery plan.

Due to the opposition of related hospitals, doctors and patients, the legislation that was announced to be enforced on January 1

It was postponed for a while, but it was eventually enforced and finalized.

NHI New Hair is a way to expand VAT

It is advocating that it is not desirable to give responsibility to medical consumers for the purpose of treating hair loss .

Everyone expressed their opposition to the policy of imposing VAT on’hair transplantation’ and’hair loss treatment’.

We need to make it possible to withdraw unreasonable laws.
